How should I choose the scale of my instrument?

We know it’s one of the most important and difficult decisions to make. That’s why we make sure to give you a complete review on each handpan, scale, as well as David’s best advice.

How long does it take to receive my instrument?

Each seller has their own processing time. Some of them already have the instrument you want to order in stock, while others will actually make it to order.

Please make sure to read the section “Estimated delivery time” to get an idea of the processing and delivery times. You can also contact the seller directly to learn more.

Do your handpans come with a bag?

Most of the time, yes! If this is the case it will be stated in the instrument description.

Can you give me an estimate of how much I will pay for the custom taxes and VAT?

Unfortunately, no. Custom taxes and VAT are dependant of three factors:

Your country of residence (or where you intend to have the instrument delivered) and the seller’s country
The value of the handpan
Your country’s VAT percentage

We strongly recommend that you find out about your country’s VAT and customs/import fees.

Quick tip: if you buy from a seller from your own country (or from European Union if you are based in Europe) you won’t have to pay any customs taxes and VAT

I have ordered an instrument on the Marketplace. Can you give me the status of my order?

Thank you for your order. Right after your order, you received an email that will give you the contact information of the seller. Any questions related to your order (choice of scale, shipping delays, cancellation, etc.) should be directed to your handpan maker directly.

If you have difficulties reaching them, contact us (using the form at the bottom of this page).

What is the return policy and can I get a refund for my purchase?

Each seller has their own policies in this area, but at the very least, you are fully protected by the 14-day Seller’s Guarantee. Some sellers will have a 30-day guarantee. You'll get an unconditional 100% refund if you are not fully satisfied with your instrument.

Please reach out to the handpan maker directly and they will let you know how to proceed.

Can I have an invoice for my purchase?

Absolutely. Please reach out to the seller directly. He or she is the one in charge of the sale, and therefore the only one who can provide an invoice.

Can I ask for a custom instrument?

Not at the moment. Our goal is to provide a limited number of instruments and scales that are the most popular and are known for being accessible and easy to play.

If you are interested in getting a very specific model, we would advise you to order directly from a handpan maker.

How do I care for my instrument?
