After lots of conversations and planning, weâve decided to join forces and bring our MasterTheHandpan and Handpan Dojo platforms together.
This comes from a shared passion and respect for what we do, and we believe it will help us create something even more special for everyone in the handpan community.
Weâve always valued each otherâs contributions to the handpan scene, and weâre excited to see what we can achieve together.
By joining forces, weâre ready to take these dreams further and create something truly special:

Nope, everything stays the same. You can keep accessing your courses just like before, using the same login and credentials.
No, nothing is changing.
None at all! Weâre staying in the same place, but weâll be expanding the family by welcoming Handpan Dojo students.
The 12 courses from Handpan Dojo will be available for individual purchase on MasterTheHandpan's website. Theyâll also be included within the Academy.
All the courses you purchased on Handpan Dojo will automatically be added to your student account. You donât need to do anything! No more switching between platformsâeverything will be in one place, with just one account. đ€©
Nope! Even though weâre adding 12 new online courses to the Academyâs catalog, we wanted to gift them to you. So, the catalog is expanding from 22 to 32 online courses at no additional cost. Yep, the Academy is awesome! đ„
Not much changes for you. Your access to your courses remains the same, and you can continue learning handpan by purchasing individual courses. The Handpan Dojo courses will also be available for purchase on MasterTheHandpan.
It depends on what youâre looking for. You can keep buying courses individually, but we highly recommend considering The Academy because:
- For the price of 3 individual courses, you can get a one-year membership to the Academy and access all 32 courses.
- Alternatively, for 29$ / month, you can access all our existing courses and any new ones that come out. Plus, youâll join the Village.
The Village is a vibrant community of handpan enthusiasts. This platform was designed to let you share and connect with handpan lovers worldwide. Without ads or algorithms, it offers organized spaces, enriching resources, and monthly events like:
- MasterTheHappy Hour: An online hangout with David K, David C, and Sylvain Paslier to get to know each other and discuss the handpan world.
- Live workshops: Hosted by our instructors on specific topics.
- Challenges: Community challenges to push each other and have some fun!
- Student Focus: Live sessions where David K, David C, Dan Mulqueen, and surprise artists comment and give feedback on students' videos.
Weâre planning to launch at the end of October. If youâre a student, youâll receive all the info by email. If youâre not a student yet, sign up here because weâre planning an awesome event with lots of giveaways to celebrate!
